Ryan is a native of New Orleans, LA, and a graduate of the University of Florida. He is currently living in Gainesville, FL. Ryan comes from the business world as a general manager of a health and fitness center that is known as “The Mecca” within the fitness industry. There he often found himself sharing the gospel and his love of Jesus. He then went from preaching in the marketplace to behind a pulpit, being called into full time ministry, and serving as a local pastor for nine years. He has also worked with the Boys & Girls Club of Alachua County, and was a board member on the local Area Chamber of Commerce.
Growing up under the ministry of Bishop Paul S. Morton in New Orleans, and seeing the church carry out its mission both within the four walls and outside of it, Ryan has developed a unique heart to see these worlds of ministry and marketplace come together. He is the owner of Legacy Visioneering LLC, which has a vision of helping African-American youth, young adults, and families understand and value the concept of creating and leaving a legacy, the importance of ownership within our communities, and the process of brining legacy from a distant dream to a tangible reality. He is also the creator and owner of the brand, Kids & Heirs, which focus on baby and kids products but promotes and instills the belief that our kids are not just kids, but heirs to the legacies we create.
Ryan is married to his Puerto Rican princess, and best friend, Lynette. They have a passion for, and enjoy ministering together to young adults. And while Ryan has a unique ability and gifting to communicate to people across all backgrounds, cultures, and economic status, he has a sincere passion for ministering to and encouraging young black men to discover their callings and live a life of greatness. He also has a passion to see justice and authentic diversity lived out in the expression of churches across the nation.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, and is a pilot who loves to fly in his free time.
Ryan is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, having completed a Master’s Degree in Leadership, with plans to complete his doctorate in Faith, Work, & Economics in the near future. He also serves various community organizations as either a board member, volunteer, or mentor.
